Sanitary Manholes

A vertical access shaft from the ground surface to a sewer or drainage utilities, usually at a junction, to allow cleaning, inspection, connections and/or repairs.

U.S. Concrete Products Corporation can supply a complete range of sanitary manholes from 3 foot to 12 foot inside diameters.  They are designed and manufactured to meet all applicable industry standards.  These standards include but are not limited to ASTM C478, FDOT and local requirements.

Sanitary Manholes are wet cast in steel forms with integrally cast bases in 4 foot through 8-foot diameters. Top sections can be cones or flat slabs with openings for various hatches, gratings, vents or plain holes as each job may require.

Sanitary Manhole cones can be provided in the following heights:

*48″ diameter: Concentric 15″, 18″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 48″ & 60″. All these sizes can come with a 24″ or 30″ opening.

*60″ diameter: Concentric 36″ with a 24″ diameter opening or a 30″ with a 30″ diameter opening.

*48″ diameter: Eccentric 24″, 32″, 36″, 42″, 48″, 54″ and 60″. All these sizes can come with a 24″ or 30″ opening.

*60″ diameter: Eccentric 36″ with a 24″ diameter opening or a 30″ with a 30″ diameter opening.

ECCENTRIC-  Not placed centrally or not having its axis or other part placed centrally.
CONCENTRIC – Two or more circles so placed as to share a common center.

Outside Drops

An outside drop pipe may be specified when the influent line is greater than 2 feet above the effluent line in a sanitary manhole.  U. S. Concrete Products can provide a sanitary manhole base section with a 90-degree vertical elbow integrally cast in the base. The contractor provides all necessary piping to bring the line up to the influent elevation with a tee projecting into the sanitary manhole to provide a clean-out.
